This is a DJ mix i made while screwing around the other afternoon with the latest copy of Ableton Live, some favorite vinyls, as well as some new plug-ins a friend of mine gave me. The music found on here relates to my recent interest in film soundtrack composition as well as songs I've enjoyed and been inspired by so far this summer. It goes through micro-house, electro, sampledelica, and some clubbier shoegazey moments as well as some ridiculous techno. Listen to while you rage, sip coffee, go running, drive late at night on two-lane highways, or when you post up and sit for a while.

invaded the Ruby Room downtown last night. Our lineup features DSS on vocals and electronics, B Crafts on bass, Me on Guitar and Keys, and Kevin on Keys and Drums.

the set went well minus the fact that the bass amp crapped out at the end of the last tune. we had a decent crowd and Haunted Tapes was rad as hell.

we will be taking a break from Caviar & Cigarettes for the rest of the summer since DSS will be in Europe until August and the rest of the band will be focusing on other projects (Idol Eyes, Fracas, Rubber's Lover)
